Can you get the Shine Back on Resin after Sanding?

Another very common question always seen on social media site is ” How do you get the shine back after sanding?” It is such a scary moment, you love the piece you have created, the colours and the pattern that has formed – but it needs sanding for various reasons and you ask yourself do I risk sanding, what if it ruins it completely? Can I get away with it as it is? …

Well I hope to ease your fears and answer your questions in this video :-

Well what did you think about that? has it given you the confidence to try that? I do hope so

First things first thou SAFETY – as you saw in the video I was wearing a half face respirator mask, it is advisable to always wear a mask whilst crafting with resin and even more so with what I was doing here you saw how much dust was in the air, so apart from my respirator mask I also had on my air purifier that you could hear in the background

I am really pleased how this turned out – I am not saying it always works ! but the majority of times I do this, it does work. I deliberately left bubbles to form in this piece, I think sometimes bubbles add to the design.

Thank you for watching I am trying to answer as many questions I can that I see coming up on social media pages, so please do keep popping back as I am posting almost every day (sometimes twice )
