The Mary-Anne Collection – is Expanding with New Characters

The Mary-Anne Collection of character bag charms are based on simple ‘Fun’ stick figures, and handcrafted using black wire, resin and cotton yarn, they are my own signature range of handmade characters and keepsakes by Maz from Art and Gifts by Maz.

Every Mary-Anne character is lovingly handcrafted by myself, rather than made from a mould, or pattern. I create each one to match the original, as closely as possible, but because every piece is individually made there maybe slight differences in colours, and facial expressions or tiny details. It is these variations that help to make each Mary-Anne bag charms truly special little characters.

The Mary-Anne Collection of character bag charms and keyrings is continually growing, with new characters being created on a daily basis, as well as upgrades to existing characters, new props appear on the market that are perfect to add extra charm, and interest to each Mary-Anne character such as these tiny DIY tools in this image…

Using Props

I have already created a character titled ‘DIY Kate’ using these props – and there is a ‘Grumpy Plumber’ on my workbench almost finished, and in mind there is a Maisy Hair Stylist just waiting to be created with a pair of scissors in her hand – the list is never ending….

I purchased this little box of tiny tools from Amazon

(please see my Amazon disclosure page relating to Amazon affiliates)

The Mary-Anne Collection will continue growing for a very long time, the characters are so appealing, with their individual personalities, their exaggerated hair styles and colours, hand painted facial expressions and stained glass effect clothing – making them so collectable, everyone wants a Mary-Anne in their life.

Each character is signed with my makers mark, and also comes with a personalised Welcome Card hand signed by myself, celebrating it’s unique place in the Mary-Anne Collection.

These Character Bag Charms and Keyrings also make wonderful gifts, maybe the character relates to a persons job, such as Plumber, Hair stylist, Mechanic or perhaps its the personality like Cheeky girl, The Girl loves accessories – with her little handbag, or the boy who loves Fishing carrying a small silver fish.

Great news for my American fans of The Mary-Anne Collection is that I now ship to the USA from Etsy.

I do hope to extend my overseas sales shortly to other countries too, just a few more details I need to put in place first – thank you for your patience ( see now I am already imagining a new Mary-Anne character ‘The Traveller’ maybe with a small suitcase and lots of travel stamps)

I am off now to create some new characters – so do please keep popping back, to see what is new in my Etsy shop, because this is a fast expanding collection of characters – but please always look out for my makers mark, on each piece to show it is a genuine Mary-Anne Character by Maz.
