Why I Use Let’s Resin UV Resin for my Handmade Jewellery

So why I use Let’s Resin UV resin for my handmade jewellery?

There are several reasons why, and I will tell you my reasons here in this post, when you first begin crafting with UV resin it can be very confusing, there are so many things you need, from craft tools to materials but do you need them all ? probably no, well certainly not when you are just starting out, there are a lot of items that you can gradually, add to your collection of supplies, as you progress with your crafting, and become more confident with using UV resin.

I have been crafting with UV resin for a few years now, creating mainly unique handmade jewellery, but also other items such as suncatchers, wall hangings and other creations for home decoration or small gifts, that I sell in my shop on Etsy

So back to the question why do I use Let’s Resin UV resin?

  1. When I was first looking for a UV resin – I saw good reviews for Let’s Resin UV resin ✅
  2. I was impressed by the safety claims from Let’s Resin ✅
  3. It’s available from Amazon – which for me means fast delivery ✅

This post does contain affiliate links, this means that as an Amazon Associate I may earn a small commission on qualifying sales at no extra cost to yourself. This helps to fund my website, where I share free beginner friendly video tutorials.

These were my reasons, for placing my first order with Amazon for Let’s Resin UV resin, I actually ordered their Starter Kit, which I found to be excellent value for money, and I highly recommend it to all beginners in this wonderful craft.

Why have I continued to use this brand?

  1. Its never let me down – I trust Let’s Resin
  2. I feel safe using it ✅ ( obviously following safety guidelines from the manufactures) If you have not already please see my blog post on using resin safely
  3. Its true what they say – there is no odour ✅
  4. I do not get many bubbles – only occasional small ones that I can disperse easily with a long nosed lighter ✅( for some of my pieces especially ocean themed jewellery I like a bubble or two they fit into the design nicely)
  5. It is a lovely clear resin that does not appear to yellow. ✅
  6. I find it cures well ✅ ( I do also use a Let’s Resin UV lamp)
  7. Packaged well and as said earlier I do like the fast delivery from Amazon ✅

Have I been tempted to try other brands – Yes, I have thought about it, as you see so many posts of other resins available from various online outlets, but then when I do a little research into them, I always come back to what I know about, and that’s Let’s Resin.

Yes there are less expensive brands out there – but if you look out for offers on Amazon, which they seem to run quite frequently with Let’s Resin, I have always managed to stock up with the reduced prices, which makes it cost effective against the cheaper brands available.

Another big selling point for me is I like the choice in bottle sizes, I don’t like big bottles of resin my projects all small, and my hands are getting much too old, too quickly, so I find handling a smaller bottle much easier, and so I order the 500ml pack, which comes with 2 x 250mls bottles, and these are perfect for my use. They even include a couple of useful freebies – a silicone mixing cup and a silicone stirrer / spoon. talking about bottles the Let’s Resin UV resin comes in really sturdy black plastic bottles, each sealed with foil – that’s another tick from me.

I am not saying that all other brands of UV resin, are not any good, I cant say that because I have not yet used any other brand – I just know that Let’s Resin, has always been ok for me – both the resins UV and Epoxy ( I only work with epoxy occasionally ) and also, I have enjoyed using other products by Let’s Resin, such as their UV Light, and colourants, pigment dyes and mica powders – I find it all to be of very good quality.

So if you are at the stage of deciding, which UV resin to get, I hope you have found my views helpful, you will find links to all tools and materials, that I personally use right here , and you may like to see some of my other blog posts – beginner friendly video tutorials, and troubleshooting tips, they can all be found here.

Happy Crafting with UV Resin everyone – I do post new blogs regularly, so hopefully we will catch up again soon 💖
